How to Be An Attorney First Responder if Disaster Hits Orange County
 
Join attorney, Kate Meiss, who has 30 years of experience representing low income clients after disasters dating back to the 1989 Loma-Prieta earthquake in Northern California and most recently assisted in NLSLA’s response to the 2017 Creek and 2018 Woolsey fires. This informative training program will provide an overview of disaster response in the legal community following fires, earthquakes, floods, and other natural disasters. It will also discuss how to be an attorney first responder in regards to FEMA and SBA cases as well as the appeal process for FEMA claims.
