A Better Deposition: The Basics  
 
This program will cover the basics of how to prepare for, take, and defend a basic party or lay witness deposition. [Deposition of experts will not be covered in this program.] Roy Comer is a sole practitioner in Irvine, in practice for nearly 40 years, as well as an Adjunct Professor at Trinity University College of Law in Santa Ana. He is a 40-year OCBA member, volunteer and speaker, and received the 2016 Harmon G. Scoville award for his significant contributions to the OCBA and the OC legal community. As Co-Chair of the OCBA Education Committee, Roy developed and was one of the presenters for a videotaped four-part seminar series on Deposition Skills. He has also developed and presented a teaching series on deposition skills to be used by the Legal Aid Society of Orange County, and is a presenter on the topics of both trial techniques and deposition skills for AttorneyCredits.com.
