Myths that Advanced Practitioners Still Fall for
The more years one practices law, the more one realizes how much there is yet to learn! Some "common wisdom" in our field may be more common than wise. Tune in to hear insights about the strategic considerations of compelling arbitration, bringing contract breach claims, representing "rank and file” witnesses, addressing rights that third parties have, tendering a 998, and using Labor Code 2802 to support oral contracts. Both panelists have represented defendants and plaintiffs and have seen how practicing by rote can harm either side.
