New Rules of Professional Conduct and How They Affect the Practice of Law

After years in the making the California Supreme Court recently approved substantial changes and additions to the Rules of Professional Conduct which will take effect on November 1, 2018. Among other revisions the new Rules address discrimination/harassment/retaliation in the law office workplace and in representing a client; the Bar's investigation of such complaints and the lawyer’s duty to self-report; manager/supervisor responsibility for rule violations committed by others; and revised prohibitions on sex with clients.

Cancellations must be received in writing via fax or email three (3) business days prior to meeting date to receive a refund.
