Haywire Circuits: How Courts Are Managing Post- TCPA Omnibus
This program will discuss various treatments by Circuit courts throughout the country and their effect upon Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) litigation since the March 2018 Federal Communications Commission? ("FCC") Omnibus ruling in ACA International et. al. v. Federal Communications Commission, No. 15-1211 (D.C. Cir. March. 16, 2018). The program will begin with an overview of the TCPA, and why it matters in the Banking and Lending space. The panel of experienced industry and consumer advocates will discuss/debate these important issues.
