Brace Yourselves: The Impact of This New Supreme Court Case on Family Law Title Presumptions, Community Property, Creditor and Bankruptcy Issues, and the New Homestead Exemption

Brace is the latest of title presumption cases. Is it conclusive? Follow along as Judge Lewis steps us through the nuanced presumption case line and where we might currently land. Not limited to Family Law, the Brace California Supreme Court decision also impacts creditor rights against community property both inside and out of bankruptcy. Couple this with the new Homestead Exemption and hear bankruptcy experts Hays, Heston and Marshack as they guide us to avoid traps leading to unequal community property divisions.

Attendees must watch the program it its entirety in order to receive MCLE credit.
