Points from the Probate Judges on COVID related challenges, remote proceedings
and changes to procedures. Practice and trial tips from the bench.    
     
Ethical Considerations for a Remote Practice:
This discussion will include the ethical considerations attorneys need to keep in
mind when working or advising clients remotely. This portion of the program will
also discuss the newly added comment [1] to Rule 1.1 of the California Rules of
Professional Conduct regarding an attorney’s obligations to keep abreast of the
benefits and risks associated with relevant technology.    
     
Reputation Management:
Do you pre-judge potential clients? The subliminal messages you get from others may be the same messages you are conveying to the court and clients! Learn the scientific impact of nonverbal cues, body language, and first impressions in a remote world from a communications expert.  

This program is approved for 3.0 CLE credit (including 1.0 Legal Ethics). Attendees must have participated in the program in its entirety to receive MCLE credit.
