The Anatomy of an Entertainment Lawsuit: How to Craft a Winning Case From Initial Demand Through Appeal
Our presentation will walk through various legal issues in a recent high-profile entertainment industry lawsuit. The case involved a hit live ensemble show that toured on Broadway and internationally. It spanned several years in multiple different forums, and dealt with ownership rights, licensing terms, creative royalties, intellectual property infringement, and alleged breaches of a contractual 'behavior and morals' clause by its performers. The presentation will offer helpful insights to both litigators and transactional lawyers helping clients better secure creative rights and avoid litigation.
Cancellations must be received in writing via fax or email three (3) business days prior to meeting date to receive a refund.
