Recent Developments in CEQA Law & Climate Change

This program will examine how: 1) the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) has been adapted to address climate change, and 2) courts are interpreting climate issues when reviewing CEQA analysis. The program will begin with an overview of California's climate change legal landscape and will identify the types of projects that are likely to raise climate change legal issues. The bulk of the presentation will be dedicated to explaining recent CEQA developments, focusing on the climate amendments to the CEQA guidelines and on case law that addresses climate issues. We will conclude with a question and answer portion if time permits and there is audience interest.

This program is approved for 1.00 CLE Credit. Attendees must have participated in the program in its entirety to receive MCLE credit.

Cancellations must be received in writing via fax or email three (3) business days prior to meeting date to receive a refund.
