Award and Collection of Conservatorship Fees After Death of the Conservatee    
 
Discussion of statutes and cases governing award and collection of conservator's and attorney's fees after the death of a conservatee. Issues to be discussed include whether professional fees have priority among potential creditors; application of Creditor's Claim statutes and the statute of limitations of C.C.P. section 366.2; alternatives if estate assets are not sufficient; and best practices to make sure you can collect.    

This program is approved for 1.0 CLE Credit. Attendees must have participated in the program in its entirety to receive MCLE credit.
