Watch Out! How Business Attorneys Can Avoid Legal Malpractice Claims

The ethics rules that all California attorneys must follow are ubiquitous but also have unique applications to corporate and business transactional attorneys. This program will discuss how corporate and business transactional attorneys can avoid legal malpractice claims. Mark Wilson will review rules of professional conduct that specifically apply to corporate and business transactional attorneys, discuss how to comply with such rules, and share examples of legal malpractice claims against corporate and business attorneys that he has litigated. The goal of the program is to help corporate and business attorneys comply with ethics rules to avoid claims and protect clients.

This program is approved for 1.00 CLE Credit. Attendees must have participated in the program in its entirety to receive MCLE credit.

Cancellations must be received in writing via fax or email three (3) business days prior to meeting date to receive a refund.
