The California Supreme Court usually grants only 4% to 7% of the petitions for review in civil cases. Join us as two seasoned appellate litigators, Rex S. Heinke of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP and Mary-Christine ("M.C.") Sungaila of Haynes & Boone, LLP, discuss key civil cases decided by the California Supreme Court in 2018 as well as select civil cases currently pending before the court.
