Phyillis Wanjiru Macharia is a first-generation Kenyan-American. She is an Orange County native born, raised, and educated in Northern Orange County, specifically Fullerton. It wasn't until law school that she ventured to the East Coast for her education at Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson Law. Now that she is back home to take the California bar, she returns to her community of family, friends, and now TMBA. Her career goal is to work on environmental and energy law matters that pertain to sustainable, renewable energy. Outside of the profession she enjoys collecting records, visiting museums, working out, and adventuring.

Aishat (Liz) Sulaiman is a graduating 3L student from the University of San Diego School of Law. She will be a certified post bar law clerk in the Orange County Public Defender’s Office and hopes to build a career that supports disadvantaged communities through criminal reform. She is also passionate about increasing diversity in the legal profession and takes advantage of every opportunity to encourage people of color to join the field. In her free time, Liz enjoys cycling and community outreach with her church organization.
