LAWYERS FOR ELDER ABUSE PREVENTION
Lawyers for Elder Abuse Prevention (LEAP) was founded in 1992 by San Francisco attorneys in response to the escalating number of elder financial abuse cases. Alarmed by the frequency and severity of these cases, LEAP founders decided that is was imperative to educate the elderly, the professionals who come into frequent contact with the elderly, the public and conservators on ways to prevent financial abuse.
