Patricia Herzog was the 1996 Harmon Scoville Award Honoree. Though Ms. Herzog may have been best known for Sullivan vs. Sullivan, the landmark Supreme Court case that recognized the contractual rights of a spouse who put their significant other through school, she was also an early employee rights advocates. She was the Legal Aid Society’s first attorney and the Chairperson of its Board of Directors for six years.
