OCBA CHARITABLE FUND 20TH ANNIVERSARY GALA TO BENEFIT LOCAL CHARITIES
September 15, 2008 - Anaheim - On Saturday evening, September 20, 2008, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. more than 500 of Orange County’s finest legal, business, and community leaders will gather for a night of fun, entertainment and philanthropy at Ralph Brennan’s Jazz Kitchen in Downtown Disney® as the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) celebrates its 20th year of charitable giving. The event, benefiting Orange County law-related charities, is co-chaired by Wayne Gross of Snell & Wilmer and Solange Ritchie of the Law Offices Steven R.Young.
The event will feature Brazilian dancers in full costume, specialty drinks, fabulous food, live music and entertainment. In addition, the event will include a spectacular silent auction and opportunity drawing for a Sonoma wine extravaganza package. The event is expected to sell out so attendees are urged to RSVP quickly. Individual tickets start at $200 and are available online at www.ocbar.org.
The Charitable Fund is the giving arm of the OCBA and is dedicated to benefiting the Orange County community and legal profession by facilitating access to justice.
Past beneficiaries have included the Public Law Center, Constitutional Rights Foundation-OC, VIP Mentors Inc. and Orange County Bar Foundation Project SELF (Summer Employment in Law Firms). The OCBA Charitable Fund has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for local charities.
