Stand Against Hate Crimes

Six Asian American women were targeted and killed in Atlanta, Georgia on Tuesday, March 16, 2021.

The Orange County Korean American Bar Association (OCKABA) is deeply saddened by the news of this shooting, which resulted in the loss of eight human lives.  OCKABA unequivocally condemns this act of violence, which underscores the escalation of anti-Asian sentiment across our country.  We call on our community to continue combatting hateful racial and ethnic ideologies—and we encourage our fellow bar associations, community partners, and leaders to come together in denouncing these social ills.  The wake of this tragedy is a critical time for us to raise our voices in support of one another and in opposition to racism and xenophobia.  OCKABA invites you to stand with us in solidarity.
