The decision yesterday on the George Floyd murder case reaffirms our belief in our justice system. The HBA stands in solidarity with the families and loved ones who have suffered through this tragic death at the hands of police brutality. It is our sincere wish that this is the beginning of a change, a revolution that will remind us that WE ARE ALL EQUAL and there is to be JUSTICE FOR ALL. Justice has been served with yesterday’s verdict, however the road to racial justice is not over; it has just begun. Let us not turn a blind eye to the issue of systematic racism, take a stand, make a difference, the time is now. Our trust is in our justice system; however our hope is in the humanity within each of us.
