Privacy Policy

Registration forms on www.OCBar.org operate in a secure environment using digital encryption. The OCBA asks users to provide contact information (i.e., email address, phone number, contact person), unique identifiers (i.e., OCBA number), and/or financial information (i.e., OCBA number, credit card number). This information is used to: process registration(s); bill credit cards and/or OCBA invoices and to contact the customer when necessary. Unique identifiers (i.e., OCBA number) are collected for use as account numbers in the OCBA's record system.

Information supplied via online registration forms is used only by the OCBA. It is not sold or provided to vendors, direct mail concerns, email list services, etc.

Any information (including but not limited to e-mail addresses, phone numbers, and mailing addresses) voluntarily provided by visitors to this website is used to improve the content of this site and notify consumers about updates to the OCBA website or news of events at the OCBA. Under no circumstances will any information collected through this website be shared with any other organizations outside of the OCBA.

If you do not want to receive e-mail from the OCBA in the future, please let the OCBA know by sending email to the above address and telling the OCBA that you do not want to receive e-mail from the OCBA. Persons who supply us with their telephone numbers on-line may receive telephone contact from the OCBA regarding OCBA matters or with questions regarding an on-line transaction.

The OCBA does not collect personal information about you unless you choose to provide that information to the OCBA or you choose to use a service on this website where gathering personal information is necessary in order to deliver the service. The information submitted is used to provide the requested services. Use of these services is voluntary; if you do not wish personal information to be collected avoid using these aforementioned services.

Warranty

While the OCBA website has been tested on several browser, operating system and hardware platform combinations, the OCBA makes no warranty that any or all features of the OCBA website will work properly on all possible combinations of browser, operating system and or hardware platforms. The OCBA makes no warranty with regards to features of the OCBA website conflicting with any software installed on the visting computer.

The OCBA website is best viewed on a screen resolution of no less than 1024x768 pixels.

Refunds

Cancellations for event registrations must be received in writing by the pre-registration deadline date for each program and are subject to a $non-refundable administrative fee (currently $15.00). In lieu of cancellation, one person may substitute for another person's registration.

In the event of a program cancellation, the registrant may elect to receive either a full refund or use the full registration amount as a credit against another program. In the event of a program postponement, the registration is automatically applied to the new scheduled date unless the registrant requests a refund. A refund for a program cancelled or postponed by the OCBA is not subject to the administrative fee.

Payments made by check will be refunded (less any applicable administrative fee) by check. Payments made by credit card (less any applicable administrative fee) will be refunded by credit to the credit card account originally charged.

The OCBA reserves the right to substitute speakers or specific topic areas within an educational program.
