Flynn-Peister, Macias Appointed to Orange County Superior Court
Governor Edmund G. Brown, Jr., announced the appointment of Terri K. Flynn-Peister and Elizabeth G. Macias to judgeships in the Orange County Superior Court on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2012.
A current member of the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA), Flynn-Peister has served as deputy chief assistant United States attorney at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California since 2002. She fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge Kazuharu Makino.
Macias has served as deputy federal public defender at the Office of the Federal Public Defender for the Central District of California since 1999. She is a member of the Latina Lawyers Bar Association Board of Directors. She fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Judge David C. Velasquez.
