The United States District Court, Central District of California, recently announced that the the fee for a search of court records conducted by the PACER Service Center will increase from $26 to $30 per name or item searched and the fee for a check paid to the PACER Service Center which is returned for lack of funds will increase from $45 to $53, effective Monday, Oct. 1, 2012.
