The Orange County Superior Court recently announced that, effective Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, night sessions for small claims court will no longer be heard at the Harbor Justice Center in Laguna Hills. Instead, night sessions for small claims cases filed in the Harbor Justice Center-Laguna Hills facility will be heard at the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana. Civil and small claims matters will no longer be heard at the West Justice Center in Westminster effective Monday, Oct. 1, 2012. In addition, documents for civil and small claims matters will no longer be accepted for filing at the West Justice Center. New civil and small claims matters impacted by this change must be filed at either the Central Justice Center in Santa Ana or North Justice Center in Fullerton, based on the city where the action arose.
