On Thursday, Jan. 26, 2012, the United States District Court for the Central District of California announced the appointment of Hon. Suzanne H. Segal as Chief Magistrate Judge, with a four-year term effective Jan. 1, 2012. Segal succeeds Hon. Stephen J. Hillman, who served as Chief Magistrate Judge from November 2007 to December 2011.
