New OC Superior Court Administrative Orders
Early in 2012, two new administrative orders will take effect at the Orange County Superior Court.
Administrative Order No. 11/05: Order to File Papers Electronically
Effective Jan. 1, 2012, all papers filed in actions containing a cause of action for breach of contract must be filed electronically. Please click here to review the order in its entirety.
Administrative Order No. 11/06: Order Re: Availability of Court Reporters
Effective Jan. 3, 2012, the proceedings for which official court reporters will normally be provided will be posted in the Clerk's Office at each Justice Center, as well as on the Court's website. Any party desiring the services of a court reporter for a proceeding in a department that normally does not have a court reporter available must file a written request 10 days prior to the proceeding. If an official court reporter is not available for a hearing or trial in a case, a party may arrange for the presence of a certified shorthand reporter to serve as an official reporter pro tempore.
