Special Thanks to Bridging the Gap Speakers and Participants

Presented by the Orange County Bar Association, the OCBA Young Lawyers Division, and the Daily Journal, this biannual event took place on Saturday, July 15 and helps recent admittees to the California State Bar “bridge the gap” between law school and law practice through an invaluable introduction to the Orange County Courts and legal community. The program, graciously hosted by Whittier Law School, had approximately 50 new lawyers in attendance who also met with several OCBA section and affiliate bar association exhibitors.

We wish to express our appreciation to the Hon. Kirk H. Nakamura, OCBA President Michael L. Baroni, and OCBA Past President Joseph L. Chairez for being a part of the Allen E. Broussard Panel on Professionalism & Civility, and to all of the judges and attorneys for volunteering their time as presenters. A special thank you is extended to OCBA Bridging the Gap Committee Co-Chairs Steven G. Hittelman and Teresa A. McQueen, and to all the program chairs who worked so hard to coordinate the speakers: Roy L. Comer, James Harman, Leslie Keith Kaufman, Damon D. Mircheff, and Kayleene Writer.
