FOOD FROM THE BAR: Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County

Friendly competition from May 1 to June 4, 2018

The OCBA Community Outreach Committee will be participating in the Second Harvest of Orange County Food From The Bar grassroots campaign. Started by lawyers to fight hunger within their communities, Food from the Bar is happening throughout the United States during the month of May.

This year, the Orange County legal community will partner with Second Harvest Food Bank to fight hunger and help the food-insecure individuals within our community. Participating law firms join in a friendly competition from May 1 through June 4 to see who can raise the most funds, collect the most food, and volunteer the most hours to help close the meal gap. Food From The Bar Orange County is an active partnership between its steering committee, the OCBA, and Second Harvest Food Bank.

It is easy to participate; donors can donate food items by dropping them off at OCBA office (see below), or sign up as an office or a team through online registration at feedoc.org/food-from-the-bar, or email megan@feedoc.org. Donations can be dropped off at the OCBA Office, 4101 Westerly Place, Newport Beach, CA 92660 during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
