OCBA Member Sharon Petrosino Appointed OC Public Defender

The county’s Board of Supervisors appointed OCBA member Sharon Petrosino to serve as the next Orange County Public Defender, a role she has held on an interim basis since former Public Defender Frank Ospino stepped down to accept a Superior Court judgeship. Petrosino, who has worked at the Public Defender’s Office since 1985, will now lead the agency of more than 400 employees, which includes attorneys, support staff and management. Congratulations to Petrosino!
