Arthur W. Gray, Jr., Receives Legends of the Law Award
The OCBA Masters Division recognized OCBA Past President Arthur W. Gray, Jr., at the "Reel Justice" seminar, which was held Thursday, Sept. 27, 2012, at the Turnip Rose, Grand Newport Plaza in Costa Mesa. A graduate of University of California, Hastings College of Law, Gray served as President of the OCBA in 1976 and was the 1982 recipient of the Franklin G. West Award, the OCBA's highest honor which is presented to outstanding attorneys and judges whose lifetime achievements have advanced justice and the law.

Gray was elected to a three-year term on the State Bar Board of Governors in 1990 and has served as Vice President of the State Bar, Chair of the Legal Services Committee, and Board member of the State Bar Foundation. He has also served on the Boards of the Legal Aid Society of Orange County and the George A. Parker Law Foundation.
