During the month of May, the OCBA was proud to partner with Second Harvest Food Bank for its annual food drive - FOOD FROM THE BAR. Supporters and volunteers were recognized on Wednesday, June 20 at the Food From The Bar Awards Reception.

"In total, the campaign helped Second Harvest provide over 127,000 meals to Orange County families in need. The legal groups involved collected more than 8,500 pounds of nonperishable food, volunteered 507 hours, 
and raised over $40,000," shared Megan McDonald, Donor Relations Associate for Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.

Also, as the OCBA wrapped up the annual food drive earlier this month, it was announced that the Second Harvest was awarded the 2018 Nonprofit of the Year award for the 74th Assembly District. Congrats to the team at Second Harvest and all its generous supporters!
