Fisher Phillips Continues to Grow Irvine Office, Adds Four OCBA Members

OCBA members Heather Martone, David Rashé, Lauren Stockunas, and Sara Zimmerman join the Irvine office of Fisher Phillips as its newest associates. Fisher Phillips now has 37 attorneys in its Irvine office and a total of 89 attorneys in California.

Martone focuses her practice on labor and employment litigation, defending employers in class action matters and cases involving constitutional claims and discrimination based on age, gender, disability and race. She previously worked as an Assistant Corporation Counsel for Labor & Employment Law in the New York City Law Department. Martone received her J.D., summa cum laude, from the Brooklyn Law School (2011) and her B.A., magna cum laude, from the College of the Holy Cross (2008).

Rashé represents employers in a variety of employment matters, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour claims. In law school, he was a judicial extern for the Honorable John A. Kronstadt, U.S. District Judge for the Central District of California, and he served as the Submissions Editor of the Entertainment Law Review. Rashé received his J.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law (2017) and his B.S., summa cum laude, from California State University, Sacramento (2014).

Stockunas’ practice focuses on employment litigation. During law school, she interned with Stokes Wagner, ALC and served as a judicial extern for both the Honorable Karen S. Crawford and the Honorable Cynthia A. Bashant of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California. In law school, Stockunas served on the San Diego Law Review and on the Executive Moot Court Board. She received her J.D., Order of the Barristers, from the University of San Diego School of Law (2017) and her B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame (2014).

Zimmerman defends employers in all areas of labor and employment law, including claims of discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage and hour on both an individual and class basis. She joins the firm from Wood, Smith, Henning & Berman LLP in Los Angeles, where she was a litigation associate. Zimmerman received her J.D., cum laude, from Chapman University School of Law (2014) and her B.A., cum laude, from Loyola Marymount University (2011).
