OCBA Member Elected Chair of Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce Board

The OCBA is please to share that OCBA member James J. McDonald, Jr., managing partner at the Irvine office of Fisher Phillips, has been elected chair of the Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. McDonald has served as vice chair and general counsel of the Chamber since 1999, and stepped into his new role as chair on Saturday, July 1, 2017.

The Greater Irvine Chamber of Commerce is a business member organization that promotes an economic climate to strengthen the competitiveness of local services, programs and information, and it represents nearly 800 businesses in the area.

“It’s an honor to be elected chair of the Greater Irvine Chamber Board of Directors,” said McDonald. “Together, we’ve made significant headway in cultivating and fostering an economic climate that allows for continuous business growth across the city, and I look forward to our continued efforts to promote and advance our business community.”

McDonald earned his J.D., cum laude, from Georgetown University and his B.A. from New College of Florida.
