OCBA OFFERS ASSISTANCE TO THOSE AFFECTED BY THE RECENT WILDFIRES
November 18, 2008 - As a public service to aid those affected by the recent wildfires in Orange County, the OCBA is offering people in need of legal assistance referrals to attorneys and legal services agencies at no charge. Affected parties may contact the OCBA Lawyer Referral and Information Service (LRIS) toll free at (877) 257-4762 and the normal referral fee will be waived. Bi-lingual staff is available Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. After hours, callers may leave a message and receive a return call the next business day. The non-profit OCBA Lawyer Referral and Information Service has been serving the community for over 50 years. It is certified by the State Bar of California and the American Bar Association.
