ORANGE COUNTY BAR ASSOCIATION TO HONOR ATTORNEY
ROBERT A. VON ESCH, JR. WITH PRESTIGIOUS SCOVILLE AWARD
March 30, 2009 - Newport Beach - The Orange County Bar Association will present the Harmon G. Scoville Award to attorney Robert A.Von Esch, Jr. This award is presented annually to honor a member of the Orange County legal community whose career exemplifies the highest standards of the legal profession and who has significantly contributed to the Orange County Bar Association and championed our constitutional system of justice. The award was established in 1990 in honor of Justice Harmon G. Scoville, retired from the California State Court of Appeal.
Robert Von Esch Jr., a veteran of World War II, has served on the OCBA Board of Directors, the Client Relations Committee, as a mentor for the Mentoring Program and has been a member of numerous OCBA sections. Robert is the patriarch of a family of lawyers. His four children are attorneys, as is his eldest grandson.
The Scoville award will be presented to Robert Von Esch, Jr. on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at the annual Law Day Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. at the Turnip Rose in Orange.
